Spring has sprung!
The snow melted a couple weeks ago and the ground is finally thawing. It’s been a nice few weeks with heavy winds but relatively warm air and we are finally able to get moving on things outside! About a month ago I was able to acquire an old barn that has a lot of materials that can be salvaged for our new house. Last week we started the process of salvaging some items from inside the barn, moving them to our building site as well as cleaning out the barn so that we can begin the disassembling process. We also spent part of that same afternoon working on corrals so that Adam can start working with his horses. Today Adam got to work on the driveway from the main road to the building site using a tractor lent to us by Hands of Faith Ministries out of White Clay, NE. Thanks to Curtis and the good people at Hands of Faith for their In-Kind donation we were able to get a good start on a passable driveway.
